How to go from Hue to Hoi An? And how long does it take to Hoi An?

The route from Hue to Hoi An is one of the most mind-boggling one in Vietnam. It’s about 155 km and approx 3 hours to go there directly but we want to Hoi An and visit some place oon the way such as haivan pass, so how is best way go therre?
