Fico um pouco mais tranquilo. Espero que eu tenha a mesma sorte que vc teve. Estou muito propenso a realizar um roteiro incluindo Cartagena. Possivelmente, Bogotá/Cartagena. Los Roques, na Venezuela, chama-me mt atenção também. Como são os preços lá? Existe vôo de Cartagena ou de Bogotá direto para lá, ou eu teria que ir a Caracas primeiramente?

Existe um passeio que você vai à ISLA DEL ROSÁRIO e PLAYA BLANCA. Primeiro passa na isla del rosário, que tem um aquario com tubarões, arraias e outros animais, e depois passa o resto do dia na Playa Blanca que é essa da foto.

 

Só é possível visitar Los Roques a partir de Caracas ou de Porlamar (Isla Margarita).Teria que pegar um voo ou de Cartagena ou Bogotá para Caracas e de lá ira para Los Roques.

 

Entre Cartagena e Bogotá pode-se ir via terrestrre ou pelas companias colombianas. Recomendo a AIRES que tem o menor preço e é tão boa quanto AVIANCA ou AEROREPUBLICA.

Agora em abril vou começar a procurar pousadas e ver os preços. Pretendo me hospedar no centro histórico. É o que todo mundo diz, que vale mais a pena ficar lá do que em Bocagrande.

For years backpackers have been put of Colombia by tales of danger, but with increasing security, Colombia is now back on South America's backpacking route. As a backpacker, you'll find budget hotels throughout the country, and those with time to spend could easily spend up to two months travelling the main sites.

 

There's a few places of legendary status for those backpacking in Colombia. Top of the list is Park Tayrona, where you'll either be camping or sleeping in a hammock on the beach. Park Tayrona is a great place to hang out for a few days, weeks or even longer. The beaches are quite spectacular and the place has quite a chilled, even hippy-ish vibe.

 

Adventure backpackers will head to Ciudad Perdida, Colombia's "Lost City" - it's a five day hike through the rainforest to spectacularly situated ancient ruins. You'll either be camping or sleeping in hammocks for the journey. Nearby Taganga is a fishing village that the best option for staging trip to Ciudad Perdida.

 

Another popular backpacker hangout is San Cipriano, which is not far from Cali in the South of Colombia. The gravity powered train journey there is highly memorable, the locals are friendly and the town is a great place to chill out and swim in rivers for a few days.

Backpackers will invariably also visit capital city Bogota, and the beautiful colonial city of Cartagena. If travelling overland, a great stop off point to split up this long journey in colonial San Gil, Colombia's adventure sports capital.

The male backpackers who might be reading this should definately check out Cali and it's amazing salsa based nightlife and stunning local women.

Those who are backpacking onwards to other countries will find practical advice here about how to go about crossing over into Ecuador, Venezuela, Peru or Brazil. You might alternatively consider the days long boat journeys along the Amazon river into Peru or Brazil.

Normalmente os hotéis que ficam no getsemani não fazem reserva, tem que ir no escuro.

Pessoal !!! to querendo fazer uma loucura ir à Cartagena em dez/2010 sem reservar hotel nenhum e me virar la, é possivel ??

Quando fui no final de Janeiro de 2008, a idéia era ficar no Casa Viena (http://www.casaviena.com/cartagena-hostel.html). É o mais barato e mais frequentado por Mochileiros Gringos, só que não tinha vagas e tivemos que ficar no Hotel Marlin que está nessa lista aí acima. Não tive problemas com segurança. Se não quiser ir sem reservas o máximo que pode acontecer é ter que gastar grana com taxi para procurar um hotel, ou até mesmo procurar pelo Getsemani a pé mesmo, pois pela região tem vários.
